About Our Chef Alejandra Espinoza

For Alejandra “everybody likes food” But “there are some who really love food” … “I was 9 years old the first time I cooked for my family, and I already knew that cooking was going to be my destiny”.

Alejandra is originally from Ecuador but travelled to France in 2006 to study at the world renowned Institute Paul Bocuse after which she worked for several 3*Michelin chef’s including Alain Ducasse and Guy Savoy over the next 8 years.

Alejandra met Lauren in San Francisco last year while Lauren was on a road trip in the USA and they gelled at first sight, quickly talking about the potential for the joining together of Alejandra’s culinary expertise and Laurens passion for and knowledge of wine.

Among other creative catering services, we are developing a “Bivouac Catering” division so as to be able to offer a unique “off the beaten track” experience without sacrificing quality or comfort, so if you have an idea or a long repressed dream for a wild venue, run it passed us, and if it is within the realms of “possible” we will find a way to make you dream a reality.
